I don't know how many people there are close to Charlotte, NC, but I'm trying to find a good Shop to do performance work on a 240sx.  Any help would be appreciated.

(I know I could look in the Yellow pages, but I've always had better luck with Recomendations)

THanks!

well i'm like 5 n a half hours away from charlotte, n from what i've seen, nc doesn't have much options for us. there is a new shop here called street legal motorsports that is decently new here so the guy kinda wants to do work cheaper than others to get their name out u know. i've never actually been to charlotte. if u ever see some place that deals w/ 240's n have a lot of cheap stuff i'd definitely drive there n check it out.

Charlotte's just like any other big city..  It has its good sides, and Bad.  Although Charlotte does it in a much more CLEAN way.  Definately the most beautifully Clean city I've ever been too.  (I've been to a LOT of cities too.)
I'm going to UNCC in June to continue  CompSci/Econ degrees I started at wilmington.  (only completed one year)  My GF is going to UNCC next semester.

Also I have found two. Still yet to actually see the 97 se in kernersville.  I also found a 91' with 95k miles that it looks like I could get for like 2grand.. the latter sounds more likely.  Although it now sounds like I could probably get the 97 for like 9-9.5k.  Both very GOOD deals. I'm gonna drive them both and see which one I like more.  (I've never drive a 5-speed 240..)

sweet, nice car man. charlotte sounds nice, from what i've heard it's a clean, safe, big city that's nice to live in. i guess i could go there next year, but i guess i'm just lookin' to save some money by stayin' here another year.

i got my 240 about 3 hours from my house for $7500. it's a 96 w/ 20k original miles, 5-speed. it was a show car, so i'm changing it comepletely n it's already looking way different. i'd show it to u, but i'll probably do a little before n after thing when it's all ready <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> .

50k is still really good. i guess a good thing about where i live is there r plenty of small towns in the area so every now n then a good deal on a 240 might come up.

I use to live in Charlotte too. I also went to UNCC and graduated with an Engineering degree and i really liked the area. I'm originally from Wilmington, NC and then moved to Charlotte, NC for school and now i'm living in Apex, NC. Out of all three...i really like Charlotte. I still go to Charlotte for work and enjoy it each time.

UNCC was a really cool school, but I still like UNCW best of all cause we could do dawn patrols at the beach looking for waves BEFORE class. Ah...those were the day's.

If your a CompSci major then you'll probably have Dr. Lake...Super cool guy. I had him for one class cause i wasn't a CompSci major, but still he is really cool and FAIR!!

Good Luck

Oh! I thought up a good place if you have the meet at night in Raleigh. In the parking lot beside Vincents Pizza on Capitol where all those Honda heads meet every saturday night. I'd like to see there faces when abounch of 240s show up out of no where.
