View Full Version : UFO sighting...
Chernobyl

My cousin just called from Europe and told me he saw a UFO. I don't believe in this crap usually, so I was wondering if anyone else has seen something out of the ordinary today. He said it was triangular, 3 lights, two white and one blue. It just hovered over his city for a while and took off.
Seen anything in the past few hours? Would be interesting.... :tweak:

I've seen one. One of my friends was with me and he also saw it. Believe it or not. I wasn't drunk/stoned/rolling/fried/etc. either.

Well....anything is possible in my book and I have seen some pretty illogical stuff by our technological standards today.

I believe him, he said he saw a object that was flying that he could not indentify. If thats not a UFO I don't know what is

Anywhere you go, you can find rednecks if you look hard enough. They just aren't always called rednecks. In eastern Europe, they're gypsies. :)

i've seen one before. just cuz someone saw a ufo doesn't mean he believes in aliens. i don't see any reason to doubt him. if u want unexplainable stuff just look in the sky. bazillions of stars and an equally incomprehensible number of galaxies floating around in eternally expanding space burning hot gasses and spewing radiation since the dawn of time spawned from a tiny yet all encompassing singularity small beyond human understanding. :wtf:

Bah, I don't believe it, I just think its kinda interesting.
And Eastern European rednecks are called "kolhozniki", at least in Russian-speaking countries. My cousin isn't one...

thats a nice MS Paint picture. some time went into those buildings.
when i get bored at school i draw in MS Paint all the time. my favorite creations are a tornado chasing some guy and a t-rex in an f-14 fighting a UFO.

You know in all seriousness I would tend to believe that most objects that are thought of as "UFO's" probably have "USAF" or a some other Tag for their countries/governments of origin. They flew the U2 around until Gary powers got blown out of the sky. The SR71 was zipping from here to there at almost mach 3 for who knows how many years. Hell, the F117 was around when I was born and they didn't acknowledge it's presence till 1993??, something like that. And if your friend is over in Eastern Europe I would really start pointing the finger something like that. All the Baltic States, The leftovers from communist Russia. All the Bloc NATO Countries. The question is not that he saw it, but who it belongs to, and what it was. The delta config. of the lights would suggest a large aircraft to me. Temperatures and Eng. speeds as well as technology have reduced the sound levels of modern military aircraft. It is a package deal of "stealth".
Whatever. Just throwing out ideas. I am a paranoid.
But you never know. The hubble just threw back pics of roughly 10,000 galaxies in a small Widescan image. And thats galaxies, then multiply in stars. Then apply some likely for life equations and look at modern physics. Maybe you got some Bug-eyed monsters in a star destroyer. who knows? not me. :bite:

What, you think we (or anybody else) is just gonna give up all our secret stuff? Gotta protect whatever competitive advantage you have for as long as you can. Oh, and the SR-71 could cook your ass to just over Mach 5, thank you very much.
As for star destroyers, why did we never see any medium-size Imperial ships in the Star Wars movies? Just small (TIE fighters, bombers, and interceptors), large (Star Destroyers), and super-size (Executor).

because they made up the medium sized ships for the videogames. plus in the movies the star destroyers were actually fast. in empire they were chasing and catching up to the millenium falcon. that's pretty damn fast -just not all that maneuverable. that would eliminate the need for a medium sized ship. remember han makes a boast of outrunning 'imperial cruisers' in ep4. whats there to boast if the damn thing is slow.
on topic, the gov't is obviously putting these things in the sky so we waste time discussing it while they tax the life out of us. we're too busy to care though... pretty lights in the sky... ooo... pretty lights... @

i dont know about competition, but my dad had at his work a disasambled f-117 back in 94, how do think Russia has stealth tanks/boats? :coolugh: secretness is relative. not even talking about competitive.

yea but satellites aren't "twice the size of the moon" as my cousin put it... and this thing made no noise whatsoever, and did't move anywhere for an hour, then slowly drifted away. Weather balloon maybe? Isn't that what all the skeptics say?
Belarus is notorious for shooting down UFOs.. they shot down some guy trying to go around the world in a hot air balloon a few years ago. I'm sure if the military noticed it, they'd have their rifles aimed in no time.

you know i don't believe any of this ufo stuff.....so much of the air space is covered by satellites and everything else. If there was a UFO it would be picked up by satellites, and all the radar that is out there.
I could understand back in the day when all this technology wasn't around but not now a days. I think its all a bunch of BS.
