don't try the T-bar, and be prepared to be sore the day after. You'll probably fall getting off the chairlift the first few times, but it's not a big deal. Snowboarding seriously rocks. I can't wait for the mountain to open by me <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

i just got back from a week of snowboarding. don't scrub on the icy spot of the snow it hurts like ####. Oh and don't give up quickly cause you will fall alot on your first time. a lesson doesn't hurt and helps alot. have fun and be take care .

use your knees as shocks lean slightly downhill and when you fall (which you will) try to land on your backside. &nbsp;Oh and most slopes offer begginner lessons with your rental I would swallow my pride and take the lesson.

t bars and rope tows sucks man &nbsp; stay away &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
&nbsp; i lived in NY and there were a few places left where you had to get a rope tow ad then a lift &nbsp; &nbsp;the rope tow sucks &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;other than that &nbsp; &nbsp;do not fall &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;

also, try to be on the OUTside of the lift... so it turns away from you and not into you.. it makes it easier to get off slowly without getting nailed by the lift if you fall.

Nah, it's not as bad as it sounds. The reason you'll be sore is cuz of all the new muscle groups you'll be using.
