Got a new headunit installed and for some reason i have no power in the interior while the car is off, an example open the door and none of lights come on and the clock in the dash doesnt show the time and loses time everytime i turn the car off. I checked the fuses and wires and everything seems good. Im thinking it maybe is one of the wires, if anyone has any useful info i would appreciate it.
I tried searching for other posts and found no useful information

i had a similar problem but my interior electric components wouldn't turn on at all (ex digital clock showed no numbers, tach and speedo were stuck on 0) check grounds & fuses again, i found a bad ground that blew the FL 75A fuse that controls the alternator i believe. Headlights run on the battery while everything else is through the alternator? (just my guess cause i was stumped when i found out my headlights turn on but none of the interior lights would) if your fuses and ground are ok then your alternator might be going out
idk hope this helps

you have either a bad power wire or ground. all those things will get a constant 12v 100% of the time. that's not happening. gonna have to look at the fsm and trace. check and make sure all fuses are good.

I think that may be the problem, I'll check it out. I know for the stock radio the ground is the actual screws. Which I don't have in and made a ground wire to the bolt next to the shifter. Pretty sure it's the power wires.thank you for the replies. I'll post what I find works.
