Ok I'm About To Purchase A Vis Cf Hood From Leo @ Jdmspecperf. He Told Me The Fitment Was Great, It Comes With A Metal Hood Latch, And Its Grade A Cf With Rolled Edges. Now I Know Vis' Quality Isnt Great, At Least Not For Fiberglass Kits. Their Fitment Concerns Me. But I Have Heard From Several People On This Forum And Other Forums That The Vis Cf Hood For The S13 Silvia Fits Perfect. Please Give Me Some Input. Just For Peace Of Mind. I'm Buying It Later Today Or Tommarrow Morning Anyways. I Trust Leo And Jdmpassword. I've Ordered Several Things From Them B4.
Thanx In Advance

Hoods are Excellent! I have the invader style one. and I've seen two OEM styled hoods up close. fit and quality are top notch. (R240na and Scott Bawaldas show car are the two stockers I've seen up close) NO problems whatsoever. (all these are S14 Zenki's BTW) much better hood than the old Fiberimages ones. I've actually been driving with mine on with just the stock style latch and NO HOODPINS for a year now. Not once have I even thought it was going to come up on me.

Same here ive had my hood for 3 yrs now with just the hood latch, no pins and havent had any problems. The only thing id say is that...make sure you wax it and put a nice thick coat on it constantly cuz the clear coat on mine started getting abrasion almost look like the fiber is fading but its not its the clear coat.

vis CF hood is excellent! i had it for about alittle over a year now and it is great. i have hood pin on mine but doesn't really need it.... i think... but just put it on just in case... latch and fitment quality, everything is great. but you have to put clear coat before install.... i didn't put clear on mine.. still good but i think it is just safer and looks better... safe from little sratches..
get them... it is great!
