Motor was replaced by previous owner at 100k
T3/T4 Turbo (probably EGAY brand, but runs great)
JGS DOHC KA24DE Manifold (JGS 240SX Parts (http://jgsturbo.com/ka24et.html)) Legit manifold! (pushes the turbo forward away from the brake master cylinder)
P/S and A/C (A/C will need a recharge, but everything is there)

Had the car checked out at G-Dimensions in City Of Industry after getting the car

Compression is as follows 1-4 : 160, 170, 165, 160

Personally Street tuned by Jason Diekman from Emance Tuning. ( i drove up to SD for him to tune my car lolz. )
5PSI of boost, roughly 220 WHP range. Very mild boost. Can turn up the boost a little more. even at 5lbs car hauls AsS! will eat any stock SR20DET

Intake Manifold emissions removal and engine prep work by Jonathan Jamias (UN: GroundPerformance), He can vouch for this car, since i left my car there for him to work on it. He also checked out my turbo and setup and everything and said everything was ok.



CONS
Car is pretty much stripped from the back, (front still has interior)
bottom of front bumper cracked ( as seen in the picture)
Dash cracked (NO WAY??)
Rear brakes prob need to be changed
No driver door panel
Driver sideview mirror is cracked.
um its an old car?
need alignment ( i'll probably take care of that soon, not sure if i wanna lower the car moar )

Car is very reliable, as it is my daily driver. It also gets great MPG. I usually try not to waste gas so i can get about 26-28MPG. of course if you're boosting you will get a bit lower. but 26-28 is still pretty damn good. Had plans to make it into a Track/DD, 6point cage, since its already stripped , WOULD LOOK HAWT! 180sx front bumper etc.

always used Shell Rotella Oil for the engine, as Jonathan advised me it was good for a boosted application

You need to get a tuned ecu for your car to run properly and not blow up. As well as a upgraded fuel pump. If it's not tuned, it will lean out and destroy the engine. This is for ka-t I'm assuming

it ran fine. I had 0 engine problems on a motor with 180k+ miles too. KA24de will handle low boost no problem. Of course you can't push it to 300-400 on internals. technically you can run just a FMU for low boost applications and maybe a SAFC, but I wouldn't recommend it. You can't adjust timing. Just get a ROM tune, hit up Jason from Emance, or ECUTUNERGUY I forget what his business runs under now. Depsite some negative reviews of him, I actually went down to San Diego to Jason for him to tune on the street. He treats the car as if it was his own literally. We found out my timing was off, and he fixed it. he charged me like 250 or something including the rom/chip install. Basically we did multiple pulls on the street, and he would then make adjustments to the tune after each pull until it was perfect.

but yes you need SOME kind of fuel management/tuning. I would suggest you shell out the extra cash for at least a ROM tune, screw that FMU. SAFC are only good for fine tuning, NOT to be used primarily for the tune.

Im stuck with a 220 dollar timing belt and water pump kit i bought the miata that i havent installed yet bc im tryin to trade it.
