alright so im testing the waters and putting my 96 cherokee up for trade for a relitavely stock slammed s13/s14. i want to get back into the game. this truck is my daily driver and runs great. the deets are: 1996 jeep cherokee sport. rare 2 door 5 speed 4.0L h.o. with 117,xxx on the clock. the truck just passed emissions easily. i bought the truck from an old farm lady the had hit a small deer. it cracked the fiberglass front grille and headlight etc. i replaced the headlights, turnsignals, front grille etc. it also needed a driver front fender. only one at my local parts yard was a green but dosent match 100%. prior to the fender bender the owner replaced the clutch, radiator, and other misc sensors(i found the reciepts in the glovebox). since ive owned and driven the jeep (7 months) i replaced the alternator, valvecover gasket, fan clutch, ive been running mobil 1 full syn oil, did the required champion copper core plugs. i also installed a skyjacker 2 inch lift which is spring cups in front, and shackles in the rear. i also replaced the stock shocks with skyjacker hydro7000 shocks. for wheels and tires, the jeep has 15x8 american racing teflon coated 'mojave' wheels -15 offset with cooper stt 31x10.50-15's. fronts are in good shape, rears are alittle feathered. this jeep is equipped with dana 35 fron axle and chrysler 8.25 with 3.08 gearing. also has the ax15 trans. the frame on the jeep is in wonderful cond and found out the truck had been rust prevented at 'ziebart". when i purchased the truck i decided to pull the carpt to line-x the interior. when i pulled the carpet i noticed the floor pans had typical jeep floor rot. so i replaced the floor pans with 16g weldable steel with sealer. then used a generic bedliner to coat the interior. only thigs i havent fixed or replaced is the hatch does not open. it needs a new latch. it is rusted and wont release properly. driver seatbelt has a tear. and speedo and gas gauge just stopped working but has to be a fuse or bad ground because they pop on and off. that will be fixed this week. just seeing if anyone is interested in this jeep. i daily it, it runs great, its been through difficult trails and was flawless.
