Unsure of the background on the salvage but the car itself is prestine. We have had it here on the lift a few times and it's flawless.

The guy before me slid it off the road in Virginia into a grass field. He broke some driver side rear suspension parts and ripped off the front bumper. He claimed insurance on it and was put up for auction. I purchased the vehicle and rebuilt it using oem parts except for those listed above. The car drives perfectly straight and does not have any damage whatsoever. Feel free to pm me if you are interested in working something out. Despite the title it is a numbered car.
so ur 100% sure there was no frame damage and it could be aligned perfectally everytime with no major adjustments?

I have had it aligned four times all because I keep adjusting the ride height. Believe me, the frame was not damaged at all

then in that case it's the previous owner's fault for bailing on it...cause from the sound of it...he probably couldn't pay his deductible or felt the car wasn't him. leading insurance to not bring it back.
"If it just slid off into a field"
I don't see it having frame twisting damage...the Z33 has stock body bracing if you will. if that is still intact then all is well.
That along with the crash bar mount?
Sucks though cause it is a very clean nismo...but to too many the idea that it's salvage takes away from the Nismo name sake...

All stock Nismo body bracing and shock absorbers are still in the car and I did not have to replace ANY of these.
I agree, its pretty unfortunate that the previous owner had to part ways with the car. I truly do not know the reason why it went up for Auction. Perhaps the shop that appraised it was at fault?
Regardless, the car is what it is and DOES NOT have any frame, body, mechanical issues.
TougeLabs has personally been under my car, mainly because his shop, RDZ Motorsports, swapped in the HFCs and can vouch that there are no frame issues.
Knock about 30-50% off that price and its a deal.
Sorry man, salvage is salvage.

I like this, I've seen more salvage nismos than clean title ones. Kinda interesting. But none the less, this car rubs me in all the right places. Glws.

why are people asking "serious" questions from 2,000 miles away. lol bump for you. i think frame inspection reports are like $120? it would help justify the price too.

The car was inspected in and passed in North Carolina, where it was then transferred to CT. I have copies of all the paperwork and everything. If the frame wasn't straight, it wouldn't of passed. Thanks for the Bump!

Can't deny it's still a good looking nismo Z, salvage or not.

Bump for a fellow nismo owner, clean very clean, actually I'd say that's a pretty fair price personally I'd offer 18k clean title 07-08 regular z's are about 20k so this being a nismo should be about the same.

Mr. cclark, pictures of the underside of the car where the damage "was" would probably help with the sale. I know if I was a potential buyer I'd like to see the underside of the car.

Of course, I can take any picture anyone wants.
HOWEVER, it seems as though everyone wants to low ball before getting anything additional, i.e. personal conversation on the phone, pictures of anything extra, or a possible viewing of the car/test drive (local, obviously).
My phone number is 203 470 7259 so if anyone is serious, I can get them whatever they want.
