Hi there:
I've had my car in getting a new clutch (Spec Stage 2) and flywheel (chromoly ACT) put in my s13 sr20det. Everything seemed to go in ok, although the aftermarket throwout bearing seems to ride incredibly close to the clutch fingers (makes me wonder if it's designed to spin on a full time basis).
Anyway, the clutch cylinder seems to move the rod and fork, but not with enough force to disengage the clutch. It worked fine before the upgrade.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and would really appreciate any answers to the following questions:
1) Is there any possibility that the above clutch and flywheel are incompatible (both are made for the s13 sr20det)?
2) Is it necessary to upgrade the clutch clyinder?
3) Is there some sort of upgraded rod that I need?
4) Do I need to worry about how close the throwout bearing is to the clutch fingers?
