Full set of these up for trade or purchase. Looking for some wide 16" rims if trading. Asking $500 OBO, rims are in good condition, small curb rash spots on each spoke of some if not all 4 of the rims. Tires are shot, hence the obo for price. Prefer FL only deals but lmk if interested!

Picked up wheels Sunday, got tires taken off Tuesday so i could have them powder coated. Come to find out three wheels are bent and now seller is not responding to texts after telling me to let him know how much to fix them. Not cool! Want them fixed or my money back! Total rip off!!!!

Are you oblivious to the fact that the wheels had some decent curb rash? If he didn't know, and you never even questioned it upon purchase then it's your own fault... Why should he pay for something he never knew about? Be alert and pay attention when you buy stuff from others. Im sure he wasn't the original owner of the wheels and probably bought them bent already. You should have inspected the wheels before handing over the money.

curb rash doesn't bed rims!!!! also you can't see that they're bent with the tires on, he didn't want to remove the tires before sale, so when I looked at them they looked ok, but with them off you can definitely tell one is bent pretty bad and two are just slightly bent. The wheels were represented as in good condition except some curb rash and I paid accordingly, had I known they were bent I would have offered far less or not bought them at all... now he refuses to respond after requesting an estimate, that is just shady!

Its been what... 1 day since you've sent him the price? I'd say your a little impatient... And curbing the rim could and more than likely did cause the bending. If as far as he knew they were in good condition, then why should he be at fault? You should have requested that the "bad" tires be removed before purchase, therefore you could have examined them better.. Sorry for your loss, but better check things next time.

It's been over 24 hours, without any communication on his end, that is not acceptable! A text reply or phone call saying let me think about it or whatever would be fine, not just being unresponsive. It's not impatient when someone is trying to take advantage of the fact that I'm 3hours away from them and just shutting down communication. That's just plain rude. Curbing... yeah that could bend them, curb rash... no that won't bend them in the way they are bent... he stated it was CURB RASH damage which again is fine as I planned to powdercoat them. A person should stand behind what they sell, not just try and bail cuz they got caught holding something that is damaged. I'm simply asking for my money back, or he pays for them to be repaired to the condition in which the ad and he stated they were in. That is what is fair, I'm not asking for anything other than fairness.
