Can anyone tell me what to do with the 2 hard lines. I removed all the vacuum lines and capped them after the canister was removed and I've seen so many online threads won the topic but no specific answer. I know one goes to the gas tank and releases gas called. I've heard to cut it under the car somewhere and vent. is this correct and what to do with the other. trying to clean up the engine bay. helped needed please

Cut the hard line where it comes out of the firewall and remove the canister. The hard line is a vent from the gas tank, EPA doesn't allow gas tanks to be vented to atmosphere, hence the charcoal canister.

One thing to consider is, if your car ever ends up on its roof, fuel will leak from the hardline you cut.

I traced both hard lines and one goes under the driver side and the other goes under the passenger side under the car? Haven't got under the car followed but as far as I seen that's what I seen
