installing gt28rs, help with wastegate lines

here is a picture of the the stock turbo and wastegate next to the gt28 (not a disco potato) it doesnt have a tap for another line

so my understanding is i need to tap a hole somewhere to run another line to the wastegate? or is it not necessary?

Add a nipple somewhere after the turbo and connect it to the waste gate actuator. If you're lazy, just T off any line that sees positive pressure.

thank you for the help. thats what i figured but i wanted to make sure. So ill just add a nipple shortly after the hotpipe, correct?

Yep. The closer to the turbo, the sooner the gate will open to reduce spikes in boost. If you add a boost controller, it goes between the nipple and the gate.
