in a time when sparco torinos are sold at pep boys next to the required fake altezza tails...and a silvia conversion is a must on any 240...

is it un jdm of me to get cobra seats in my s14?

seeing as im prolly one of the biggest s14 drivers, theres no chance of me fitting in a bride or recaro

leaving me to either sparco torino/milano or cobra

what do ya guys think of these?

WTF? Whocares if its JDM or not. Sit in a seat, if it sgives you the support and comfort YOU need for YOUR driving style get it. Why do you need our input if its JDM enough??

BTW, if you rlooking at the Cobra seats check out the Cobra Imola in GT width, WOW very comfortable for big guys. Im 6'2 185, so not too big but I cannot fit in a Bride Brix at all. 34 waist is too big.

I'm in the same shoes as you jsteed, the question is if you go aftermarket seats don't the rails make you sit higher (I have height problems already) and where can you get low profile rails from

If you are a bigger driver and do not fit in the Brides, I highly recomend the Works Yamaguchi Takamii seats (www.worksyamaguchi.com). They are reclinable and really good for bigger drivers. I am 6ft 200lbs and I can still wiggle around in them in the butt area, so I'm sure someone bigger than I would be just fine. They are not some crappy seats that have some company name embossed into the top of the seat, these are embroidered and feel like very expensive seats, even though they are very fairly priced.

Cobra seats RAWK! Very high quality!

Just be careful of the mounting hardware. Same old story, the bottom mount sliders are probably pretty high - not good if you're big in height as well as width!

im 5ft11, bout 205ish

im fine in the waist part (34) the shoulders is what kills me, im basically over the edge on both sides with stock seats

if you get the sliders that come with the Takamii seats, you only sit about .5-1in higher max, not bad at all. I can also mod them for you if you need.
