How far away is it? Might be worth it to fly out (or bus/train) there and drive it home. Plus road trips are just fun.

Hmm, I dunno, that car's not in great shape. bumpers don't fade like that normally, and they had to take pretty shitty care of it to let the hood get like that, and it doesn't come with alloys. If you can get it for like 1500 or below it might be worth it, but then again, with shipping.... Are you out of luck finding one around you?

Yeah, if you can get it for a total price of around 1500, i'd say it's worth that.

well the shipping alone is 700, and the car is at 1000 right now, do u mean total after shipping or before

I'd say grab a buddy that can drive stick get a couple of cheap airline tickets which isn't hard to do nowadays and fly out to buy the car but don't pay over 1300 for it especially sight unseen.

I mean after shipping, but if you can get airline tickets, you might be able to swing it.

Before I bought my 97 by luck, I was looking at a 2.5RS before the summer, and couldn't find any below 15000 with less than 25000 miles on it, but I found one on Ebay and woke up 3 in the morning to make a last minute bid of 14000, the car only had 23000 miles on it, so I was pretty happy, until I found out shipping is just too expensive, and if the car comes, and the condition is worse than the seller told you, then you can either take it, or ship it back under your own expenses. But if you fly down there and the car isn't what you expect it to be like, then you are screwed also. So I never bought that car, and I suggest you buy a car that's within your area and if you don't see one, then wait, that's what I did, and that's how I got my 97 240 with 24550 miles for $10500.
