As you can see my stock s13 cable doesn't connect to the part that pulls the ebrake. I was told It was an s15 5 lug when I bought it off some dude but I have no idea how to tell what car it's really off of. Idk if Im Missing a part on my brake assembly or I just need to switch the cable

If your brakes are S13, the cables to the e-brake hook should line up perfectly. But just to make sure, double check that you've got slack from the e-brake handle.

Also, what I would do is connect the cables to the brakes first, then route it through the subframe, and then the e-brake handle.

Is that not why I said:

You're going to have to fix your mistake. You have everything hooked up and it's not working for you...so why try going about it YOUR way?

Do you not get it bro? Look at the picture, my cable has a different fitting than on the hub.

Based on your title and lack of comprehend-able English, this is your title:

S13 hatch: I assumed S13 calipers. 300zx 5 lug swap done: I assumed S13 calipers. Whats needed to complete my Ebrake assembly?? Where does it say you don't have S13 calipers?

Do you not get it bro? Look at the picture, my cable has a different fitting than on the hub.

On an S-Chassis, the e-brake cable does not connect to the hub. It connects to the caliper. And unless you've got Z32 brakes, then it will have to latch on to the e-brake drum.

So yes, I do not "get it, bro". No sentences that you've made in this thread have made sense to me and I tried my best to answer to your broken ass English.

So let's try this again...

SLACK THE E-BRAKE HANDLE. CONNECT THE CABLE FITTING ON TO THE CALIPER IF YOU HAVE S13/S14 CALIPERS AND THEN ROUTE IT TO THE E-BRAKE HANDLE. IF YOU HAVE Z32 BRAKES, YOU WILL NEED TO PLACE THE FITTING INTO THE DRUM.

It's literally that simple.

You need S14 e-brake cables.

thank you for your suggestion, now check this out, you got me thinking

here is my current s13 cable
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b125/mikebarry/IMG_0647.jpg

here is the peice on my brake assembly that engages the Ebrake
http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b125/mikebarry/IMG_0648.jpg

and here is a picture if some z32 cables, which i found doing some browsing. see the connector on Left side of the Top cable how its open? looks like that would go right around the peice on my brake assembly and do the job!!! sooo it seems like i have z32 rear brakes? sorry for the lack of knowledge lol, when i purchased my 5 lug it was as complete as it could ever possible be. the guy told me it was off an s14 and it had brembo slotted rotors lol. so its been fun finding out the details about this set up. when i installed it i had to use my stock s13 upper control arm so im guessing it was off an s14 or something. but the BRAKE assemble looks like its off a z32??

soooooo I rest my case about your lack of common sense & knowledge...hostility? No. You just lack a lot of knowledge that I've spewed out at you.

Guy tells you they were off a S14 and then you assume you have Z32...

...because these Z32 rear calipers

You had the answer all along, Matej even spoon fed you the answer, and based on the more recent picture that you posted of the rear face of the caliper, I can tell you right now that you don't have Z32 OR S13 rear calipers.

S13 calipers:

You have S14 calipers (on the left):

Okay cool, thank you. I was just confused because the s14 cable looked just like the s13 one at a glance. And the "ball" or however you may call it at the end of the cable that connects to the caliper, will grab the lever on the caliper but it is no way stable or secure. So the s14 one will hold onto the lever on the caliper? Again I apologize I'm not a mechanic , I just get shit done , eventually lol.

& would you know where I could get that cable ? I'm just confused on how the ball will latch the the lever securely. on the s13 caliper its held on both sides by the one lever
