HI. I am in kind of a rush to get good brake pads. I was looking at the Axxis Ultimate for its good street and mild track abilities but can't find anyone in the inland empire who carries them. Could someone tell me a good alternate pad and where I can get front and rear pads by tomorrow afternoon, as I am signed up to drift on Saturday and Sunday at the Califronia Speedway. All help is very much appriciated. :bigok:

Sorry for going off topic but may I ask you what Drift event is it?
btw Firestone should be able to get it to you in a day.

That's the NASA one right? I think it's posted on Club4AG. For $100 entry fee and a $35 membership fee, you cant go wrong, especially for a 2 day event.
Edit: I was just looking at the details and it is a parking lot event. I guess $70 per day isn't that bad of a deal. Beats the DD's. I thought it was going to be on the road course.

you don't have to get the NASA membership. only $100 for two days good deal. They have about 10 spots open IIRC. How do I get ahold of Firestone? And do you mean the tire company?

Why are you needing a really good brake pads for drifting?
I hardly use my brakes when i head out to Drift Events.

True that. At the east loop for the speedtrials event, I was rocking stock pads no prob and that was on a track for 20 minute long runs. You'll be in a parking lot waiting your turn for the next run in which your brakes will cool down considerably. Just go get whatever you can find so you can meet tech. Don't worry about good pads for now. You can always go buy the good ones later. You don't wanna miss out because you're looking for good pads at the last minute.

I talked to the guy at my local firestone and he said that he could not get those ones. Maybe he was being an ass. I have a guy from a local shop looking to get some for me. If I can't get the Ultimates They have the deluxes for sure so I will still have good pads. Thanks for the help and suggestions.

well I was able to get the pads from stop-tech in (Torrence)sp. Only people I could find in so cal that had them in stock. I was up until 3am Saturday morning finish everything up. new pads, rotors, steel braided line, and master cylinder. and fabed a battery brace. fun stuff. I had a great time at my first event. I will be trying to do it again very soon. Thanks for all the help.

I was driving the amazingly primered (black) s13 coupe. It was most definitely a good deal. enough so to force me into buying all those parts. I didn't realize it was happening until I stumbled upon it on Wednesday. I was great to finally get to throw the car around a little. It also maid me realize how much I need suspension. I was running horrible 195 60's on steelies so losing 4 tires wasn't that bad. Did you have stickers all over your car? I don't remeber seeing a plain black s14.

yeah I am pulling the rest of mine off today. the gray wheels were se wheels right? I think I remember you car if so. not to hard to miss mine eh? I was so shot from doing my brakes and a friends party that I wasn't really up for rolling around and talking to people. I wish I had though. haven't met many people yet. just few people from shops. What group were you in?

I wish I would've had more tires damn it!! I went through six tires on Saturday. Got back home and put some other wheels and tires on and went out for some more with the homies at our spots...hehehe. This US Drift event was a good deal, you also get a one year subscription to GRM magazine.

I finally had to buy 2 more tires on sunday. and that threw me for a loop. They just acted so different than ther other ones I had just gotten used to. I emailed moto to see if any one droped out of dd14. I just can't get enough now.
