S13 Gauge Cluster Lights problem

1991 s13

My stock gauge cluster does not light up when i turn my headlights on, everything on the cluster works except for the lights when i turn them on at night. The clock back light works during the day when i have my headlights turned off. Also, the "brake" symbol turns on with no problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

you check all the fuses?

if those check out, try pulling the cluster and using a multimeter on the plugs to see if they are getting power. if that checks out then theres nothing left to do except change the bulbs. might as well upgrade them to LED's...
