Selling my Tomei bottom mount manifold. The plate that says Tomei fell off. I purchased from another member on here not long ago...cant recall the member ID since I've cleared my PMs since then. Reason for selling is I decided to go with a top mount setup instead. Manifold and gaskets are included with sale.

$250 plus shipping OBO

Actually, the Tomei badge falls off all of the time. Mine did, lol. Tomei even offered to weld it back on for me if I sent it in, so I am pretty sure it is a common issue.

A weld fuses the metal essentially making it one piece, how could the weld just fall off ? I'm by no means calling you a liar i just don't see it .

Welds crack , they don't fall off . Or are you to ignorant to tell the difference ?
The odds that all 4 welds cracked at a perfect enough angle to allow the badge to fall off with out cracking the manifold itself is far less likely then it being a badgless tomei knockoff known as ichiba . Slap yourself.

its hard to make out but you can see where the badge fell off....2nd pic on the longest runner. To my knowledge, ichiba manifolds dont have a badge on them.

Tomei manifold has its name stamped on the Bottom mating part. I'll post a pic of mine.

Dude youre an idiot. Just google it, it'll come up. It's a common issue with these manifolds.

That is only the case with the newer manifolds, the old ones didn't have that.

lol at you... if you knew anything about welding.... the 2 different gauges of metal make it difficult to balance the melting and fusing. the thicker gage(manifold) takes longer to heat up as opposed to the WAYYY thinner gage of the tomei plate. with time, heat, vibration... ect its only a matter of time until the plate fallls off. you either heat the smalll plate too much causing it to melt or underheating the mani causing an improper bond between the two!
