Turbo-buy kit or make one?

What does everyone recommend for turbo setups, should iget a kit or piece one together? Which one is cheaper?
And i would search it but my phone wont let me search anything

depends on your goals. are you looking for a kit so you can say you have a turbo car?! Or are you looking for big boost goals?

Turbo
Mani
Down pipe
Wastegate if turbo is externally gated
BOV (arguable but I say if it could help, why not have it)
Intercooler with piping

Fuel demand:
Increased fuel pump for high boost goals
Fuel pressure reg
Increased injectors
High flow fuel rail (for high boost demands)

Electronics :
Turbo timer
Boost controller
EMS (stand-a-lone or piggy back)
Wide band


If you are looking for a bolt on affair for small hp gains and the aesthetics of having a turbo car, buy a kit.

If you are looking to make some strong power and such. You can find some kits, but they aren't gonna be any cheaper than your full bolt on kit.

Make your own. You can piece together exactly what you want for your goals. Most full "kits" require modifications anyway. The only real quality kits are far more expensive than making your own.

Well im lookong to get about 300hp and then use it as a drift beater

Look into the JGS turbo kit. It has great fitment and you will easily achieve 300 hp.

Jgs kit is 1700 for jus the starter kit. It's great quality but it boils down to how much you're willing to spend and what fits your needs.

ive always put my own turbo kits together
that way i can use the best quality parts
most turbo kits on the market come with crappy thin walled stainless manifolds
