View Full Version : What Lugs/Studs I need with my wheel/spacer setup?

My wheels:
16x7 Front, +35mm offset
16x8 Rear, +38mm offest

Spacers:
10mm (set of 4), hub-centric

I would like a flushed look if its possible with this setup.

Anywho, I know the lugs I need are 12x1.25mm but I'm not
sure what kind of lugs I need or whether I would need stud extensions. Open end, closed end, etc. etc.

I have searched the FAQ and google but nothing convincing
found yet. I'm gonna keep searching some more in the meantime.

You can see my wheels here: http://240sx.cubicdesign.com/picpage12.php

Thanks

if you want "flush" i dont know if your 10mm spacers are gonna cut it. if you have to go with the 10mm. just get 50mm nismo studs. the extra 8mm should be enough to run safely since people run 5mm spacers on stock studs. if you want flush though, sell your 10mm spacers, get 20mm spacers and get the nismo 60mm studs. that would be closer to flush.

lug nuts.. im not sure about those. i would think extended ones that are openended but i can't say for sure(im don even know if it really matters as long as its extended ones)..sorry.

Im not totally concerned about the flushed look. I just want a properly seated wheel,
since I will be doing some hard driving on these during the summer (SOLO2,drift etc.)
As well something that will clearn Z32 brakes which are also planned in the upcoming months.

You said to get 50mm NISMO studs, so I'm guessing the stock studs are 42mm?

For nuts, I'm currently looking at the McGard Spline drive kit (PDM has the kit, part #65454)
