Is there an spicific way to install the cams with the head off ? Cause my friend try to put the cams and one of the cam caps didnt match the bolt hole but when we moved the cam to a different position all of the cam caps went in ..
He said the cams its bend somehow but i dont think so i think he put the cam wrong ..

are the cam caps from another head?
If so, it won't be OK, cam caps are machined with the head, if the caps are from a different head, i'll have to machine the head qith these caps.
BUT, if the caps are the original ones, there are numbers on them, from number '1' to number '7' if I remember well, and all numbers have to be placed on the same way (placed in front of the exhaust side, numbers must be readable)

was the was engine at TDC during the install?
If so...
He installed the cams and cylinder # 6 was tdc (as well as #1) the cams were pushing valves open probably forced the cam on bending/breaking the cam and bending 2 valves.
the proper way is to dial the engine back a few degrees, lowering the pistons to clear the open valves.
ps:I have a pair of stock r34 cams F/S

it would be really difficult fitting the wrong cam in, b/c the exhaust cam has the CAS snout.
any pictures of this "bent" cam & head?

I have a r32 rb26. Since the subject is on cams, what is a good true bolt on cam shafts for this engine?. I would like to stay away from cheap cams but don't wantto break the bank. My bottom end is done with N1 goodies and acl race bearings. And upgraded near stock turbos. ( Garrett parts)
