Quick question about catch cans

Is it okay to run the vacuum line from a catch can to the manifold rather than the intake pipe? I think it would look cleaner but I'm not sure why no one does it. Boost pressure fucks with it or something?

Exactly, unless you have a check valve inline, but then you only see vac at idle no load conditions. However, you want to be pulling air out if the engine under load, so the intake pipe is where you'll see a vacuum almost all the time.
