Took my date to an Italian restaurant tonight...

I took her to a pretty nice Italian restaurant in downtown tonight. My question is, is it rude to leave more than half of the food left on the plate? I don't have a problem taking down a T-bone steak dinner, but when it comes to pasta, I can't seem to eat much of it. Don't get me wrong, the food was great. I love Italtian food in general. So is it rude to leave alot of food on the plate?

In my opinion, it depends on who is paying for the meal, I would think it kinda rude to leave a large amount of food when it is being done on someone else's dime, but if you paid for your own meal and had food left over, then what good reason would she have to say anything about it?

You should throw her some bullshit line about how you liked talking to her so much and you just kind of forgot to eat your food. Something like, "The conversation was just so good. I'm usually a big eater but I couldn't help it because I just wanted to talk to you the whole night." It's bullshit like this that girls just love to eat up because it makes them feel special.
