I have tried to search for this, and i can't seem to find anyone referencing this. If I get a JDM S13 VLSD that comes with 5 bolt output shafts...Could my stock 6 bolt output shafts be used inside the VLSD diff? Or are the shafts cut differently between the two styles of differentials?

My guess is that they are not interchangeable or else more people would be doing it, instead of buying a set of 5 bolt axles.

Thanks,
Zac

Completely different, not compatible what so ever. VLSD shafts generally have one long shaft and one short shaft. Open diff output shafts are almost equal length.
