hey whats up dude
i just checked out your site about your 240SX, and i like it. you have a very nice car. it looks alot like mine, but i have a 1991 240SX instead. im writing you to ask you why you say your car isnt fast? dude, it hurts to hear people say that about the 240SX. the best car to have is a 240 1989-1993. and you have a 1990 which is one of the best. what type of engine do you have? what i have is an SR20 twin turbo engine. this engine is not known in america. people under estamate teh SR20 engine. i just moved back from japan. i lived there for 3 years and i learned some crazy shit. in japan a 240SX is called a 180SX. they are among the most popular cars. especialy SR20 twin turbo engines. they run on 320 HP stocked. if you compleatly upgrade your engine you can make it almost 670 HP. thats why the 240SX is a perfict fast car in the states. becuase its so cheap, no one knows the true value, and you can find the SR20 twin turbo engine anywhere for a good price. what i did was i bough the car for $1,200, with a CE engine. then i went to a junkyard, found a recked 240SX with and SR20 engine, and i bought it for only $300 bucks. i took it apart and cleaned it, fixed up a few gaskets and the engine was as good as new. then i put the engine in my car. and there it was. my CE engine only had about 160 HP but my SR20 engine had 320 HP. now i got some upgrades like 2 intakes, and intercooler, headers, and an MSD ignition system. now i run at 450HP. with in the next few months in going to buy a new supercharged twin turbo kit to take over my old turbo and that will give me an extra 240PH. unbelievable isnt it. but thats all it takes. so trust me dude, your car can be fast as ####. i can beat stocked RX-7's , integras are no match, #### they couldnt keep with me for a second. so trust me dude, get your car an SR20 engine and you will be kicking ass. if you have any questions just e-mail me back and i can help you with your car. thanks for your time.
haha bulls#
[email protected] lmao u can look on japan site they dont have anything called n sr20dett and the ce whatever that is never came in a 240 lol hes talkin out of his ass he probably has a 240 and told a bunch of people that this is wat he had on his car, and in reality with a twin turbo 4 hes pushing it cuz it wouldn't be a simple job cuz the sr DID NOT come tt'ed, hes all bullshit.

hehe. and i don't think people underestimate the SR, people love that motor. 320 horsepower from a stock twin turbo SR? at first when i saw CE, i thought he meant CA but not after he said CE two times.

That pretty much gave it away.... :o
Sounds like a 14 year old with too much time on his hands. I wonder what 240PH is anyways.

ACTUALLY...
I believe there was an SR20DETT somewhere. I think it was FWD only though. It was in one of the Pulsar GTiR. I'm not sure if it was stock from the factory with twin turbo or what but it did in fact exist.
The guy is still stupid though. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I don't think there was ever a standard SR20DETT... not even in the Pulsar GTI-R.... must have been a custom job like this one:

i wrote him back asking where i can find a twin turbo kit and if someone in america can import the twin turbo kits. in this email (well he wrote me back three times).
------------------------------------------------------
hey whats up dude
ya, if you go on ebay. com or yahoo. com you can find parts for your car. what you need is an SR20DET S14 turbo. the only way you can get a twin turbo is if you take it from a S33 skyline. but its not a good idea. if you got the SR20DET S13 engine then the Skyline S33 twin turbo will work perfictly in your car. you would be at 300HP maybe alittle less. but if you can find an SR20DET S14 engine with a single turbo, it will be more powerfull with 315-320 HP pluse it can be easly upgraded. thats why i like the 240SX so much is because there are no limitations on it. what you should do is look around is some junkyards for a junked 240SX OR a Silvia K. a silvia K would have the S13 engine. be sure to check the engine type on the car title plate. if you dont know where that is, then i will tell you how to find it. ask the owner of the junkyard the price for the engine. he should sell it to you really cheap becuase he wont know the value of a S13 or S14 engine. inorder to reconize the engine, it will have either a black or red head casing on it. . here are some sites that have pics of the engine that you want. if you buy an engine, it would be wise to take it apart and give it a good cleaning and de-greasing before you drop it in your car. the engine will cool off faster and be more afficent. use your stocked fuel injectors thats in your car now, becuase you know there in working order. they should fit the S14. i will send some addresses with the pictures of your engine in another letter. if you have any question then please feal free to ask me.
---------------------------------------------------
this guy needs to understand that we don't have such engines here. if i find a wrecked imported skyline with it's engine not ripped out, or a red or black top SR, i'm going to think of it as a blessing. i have a better chance of getting with allysa milano. it's kind of annoying because he thinks i'm a newbie, and in the other emails, he said i should get strut tower bars (uhh i have them) and i have links on my website on where to get SR's and shit. i wonder if he even LOOKED at my website. the first few lines show his attention to detail.
