Hey guys, I am in need of some very clear pics of the engine bay for a KA24E. In particular, all vacuum hose locations and all sensor locations. Additionally, the vacuum hose diameters if possible.
I would really appreciate any help! :) Thanks!
Chilton and Haynes are lacking in specifics and the vacuum diagrams are no where near the clarity of a picture. The FSM was helpful, but pics are what I would like...
Again, thanks in advance! :)

This comes from lack of forethought, or from lack of patience. I taped a tag to each vacuum line before engine removal, and bagged and sorted the bolts according to what they came off. I have no pity for you.

Actually, it comes from a lack of neither on my part. But on yours, a lack of background on my situation and a lack of decency and respect for others. As you peruse my reply, you will notice that I mention looking into the 3 available manuals for direction. From basic reading competency, you could have ascertained (like you did by thinking I pulled an engine without knowing the whole disassembly process) that since those manuals speak of marking everything when pulling the engine apart, and by reading most of my previous and very technical/helpful threads, that I would have known what to do when pulling an engine apart. As a matter of fact, I can send you some videos of me disassembling 7 different engines that I use as training tools for friends in need for $19.95 plus shipping. You will see me in the videos, the 6'2" hispanic constantly being a smart-ass. PM me, and I can send you my paypal if interested.
First, I must clap for you. I then must ask that you get a standing ovation for your incredible feat of mechanicsmanship by marking vacuum lines and bagging bolts. You don't know what I have done or my history, so dont jump to conclusions...assuming that I have never performed any engine work...that, is foolish. OK, before you go off looking like some sort of ignorant fool, as I stated in the other thread of being nit-picky, I will now correct the libel that you have bestowed upon me by your unscrupulous behavior.
If you are the moderator that you are, you have prolly come across some of my posts in the last 4 months. I stated that I had purchased a 1989 coupe for $75 with the engine in the bay back in november, but nothing connected missing airbox, alternator, brake lines, master brake cylinder, radiator, lights, injectors and rail, seats, complete exhaust, exhaust mani, and more..hence the reason for it being $75. I own an S14 and a 93 hatch and this car as far as 240s are concerned, both having the ka24de not the ka24e. Being that I matched alot of the locations using my experience with the dohc engine of the later 240s and basic knowledge of emissions controls, FSM/CHILTON/HAYNES, and common sense, I was able to figure many things out. I am just now (within the last 2 weeks) starting to get working on this non-working car as I have been focusing attention on med-school and my s14. I have never once asked on any board for help, and when I finally do, this is the reply I get??? From a moderator at that??? I mean, you did not even reply with anything useful, just a cynical "my daddy neglected me and I hate the world" attitiude. All I asked was for some pics of an engine bay with high quality, not assistance for anything else. I did not realize that god-like entitys such as yourself would apply. I feel almost ecstatic ( ) that you graced me with your infinite knowledge and wisdom only to show me that you are petty and disrespectful...some way to display your corrupt use of authority. If you attempt to tell me about rules, I suggest that you realize the error of your ways and the way you have replied to my last 2 posts.
Frankly, I don't really care who you are, what you do, or whatever feeble importance you feel that you have in this world. If you post without knowing anything like that again, you will end up looking very insignificant and become a trifling troll of sorts.
For the future, please keep your uselessness to yourself...
Thanks! :)

Yea. It's not your lack of anything. I'm also not a troll. Or un-hugged as a child. I was jumping to a conclusion, but honestly, I'm dead-on in 95% of my "useless" posts, assuming someone is a bandwagon'er, or a retard, or whatever else. The 1 in 20 posts I'm wrong on, someone grabs a thesaurus and goes to town.
Since I was filled in on your situation, I have to ask why you are so emissions conscious? Live in Cali, or just like trees? You can reduce yourself to 3 or 4 extraneous vacuum lines, and gain a couple horsepower by tossing all that emissions stuff, as well as save a few pounds. If you're in Cali (or like trees) then I can't help with vacuum lines.
<snip> Damnit.. this is a KA24E.. I just forgot.

I live in Texas, where it does not matter, but I am going to sell this to a friend and she wants it completely stock for her own reasons. I appreciate your honesty however...
