My 240sx recently started making a sound from the intake manifold area of the engine bay. This has been going on for about two weeks now. I had suspected it was the alternator bearing so I replaced it. The sound is still there and I do not know what could cause it. Here is a video of the problem. It is not the throw out bearing or the transmission. I just had a clutch job done a few months back and replaced the throwout bearing. I have checked the vacuum lines linking to my intake but nothing is loose.
