e brake troubles!

Hey there!

I got some issues with my ebrake that I would like to fix soi can get back on the track. Anything will help.

Issue: ebrake won't lock up.

I purchased new rear rotors and pads as well as ebrake cables and ebrake handle and still no gusto. I used the adjustment bolt (ten mil) and tightened it so tight that it actually stays acuated when its in the down position and it still dosent lock. Not sure what the hiccup is in my thought processes here but any ideas will help.

I'm going to assume you have either a S13 or S14. No Z32 brakes. Right? If so...

How are you routing your cables? If they aren't attached to the rear subframe, you'll have plenty of slack.

Also, you can adjust the cable ends to another slot to make it tighter. Don't know how to explain it.

Does your ebrake work at all and your problem you can't lock them up on the track?
