We have quite a few JY's around here but one of them has four S13's and two S14's so I am going there to find the small stuff on my list. This will also be a scouting mission to see what other goodies I can find out there that might be worth bringing home.

So if you were going to the junkyard tomorrow what would you look for?
What would you be willing to pay for said parts?
What cars should I look for to get the LSD's?

Is there anything you want me to pickup for you? If so then you will have to PM me your cell phone number and i will call you from the yard to make sure it is something you want. I can text you pictures of the parts so you can verify that is what you want. IF I PICK IT YOU BUY IT!!!!!!!! I am not made of money so don't screw me over :fawkd:

On a S13, it makes your front track wider & allows a lot more neg camber than the stock S13 one can provide.

Good luck finding anything, the "JDM" craze has made almost anything worth while hard to find

how does a "JDM craze" make anything from a US junkyard harder to find?

^Because the "JDM Craze" is in America (every american fanboi wants cool JDM parts off cars for cheap)... Thus, they snatch the parts before we can find them.

Anyways, curious which junkyard has 2 14's in it? The JY on mainstreet? I need a driver interior door panel for mine...

J30 Diffs and interior door handles. Also, if there is an NX2000, grab the gauge cluster for a quick 150-200 bucks. Sold mine on here in literally 10 minutes

The workers at junkyards snatch the good stuff for themselves or their homies before the public even gets a chance to see the car.

Sometimes the guys who know what they are doing have the day off and you get lucky. I am not saying its impossible I am just saying that finding worthy parts at a junkyard for a 240 is pretty hard. BTW I am a kings fan..

just what you need

hate it when people clean out junkyards and list the parts for 4x what they're worth

If there are any DSM's, if you find a mint 16g turbo or 20g you can turn around and sell them for 500ish each

I made a pretty penny for a while sourcing clean dashes and xn2000 digital clusters. I sold the clusters pigtailed with a spare 240sx cluster harness. Towards the end I learned how to wire it and sold them plug and play. s14 seat belts are always nice. also pick up some z32 5 lug set ups. Also misc parts for 5 speed swaps (pedals, hardlines) are overlooked and usually still on the cars that have been ravaged. I also always pocket tons of misc hardware and fuses cause they are always in need when doing random jobs.

If you have the time/room. Carpets are cheap, and if you find a clean one you can flip it for 100 bucks. Yard will usually let it go for 20 bucks. Door cards, seats, and other "desireables" usually go to shit from messy yard-goers.

z32 brakes as usual or q45/j30 "there both different"brakes for two piston/more wheel clearance but still better stopping power than oem s13

z32/mustang cobra maf's

Starion conquest rear wheels 16x8.5-10 or if lucky 16x9+0 and crown victoria's 16x7+10 mesh wheels

im pretty possitive q45's have the same drum/shoe set up as z32's except for the anchor bolt?
^ someone verrify this last one

and if your gonna get anything 5 lugg id take 30/32/36 mm sockets unless ya wanna pay more for axles and uprights/knuckles that you might not need

s14 lca's/s13 clutch peddles and whatever else you can treassure/come in handy...

Also look for aftermarket parts on the 240's last time i found a newly mounted TANABE HYPER MEDALION on an s13 for 35 bux
