Looking to buy a press to press in things such as subframe bushings(I think that would prolly be the biggest thing I would have to press in. Would it be feasable to buy one of these or should I just get a bigger floor one and be done.

Keep in mind this would be a use like 1-2 times a year kind of thing.

1/2 Ton Arbor Press (http://www.harborfreight.com/1-2-half-ton-arbor-press-3551.html)

1 Ton Arbor Press & Other Arbor Presses - Harbor Freight Tools (http://www.harborfreight.com/1-ton-arbor-press-3552.html)

6 Ton A-Frame Bench Shop Press (http://www.harborfreight.com/6-ton-a-frame-bench-shop-press-1666.html)

I like to do as much on my own as possible.

As usual thanks for the input!

My buddy has the 6 ton one and we used it to press my subframe bushing in pretty easily.

yeah i noticed the 6 ton one at the last minute. Definitely gives more clearance

Yeah clearance is better, I couldn't press my hubs on my knuckles tho it was to narrow.

Whatcha mean? Haven't done it so having a hard time picturing it. I only ask because a 20 ton is going to be at a yardsale this weekend. If i can get it for the right price i may. Just being military it sux trying to move stuff every few years

the space between the base and rod was to small to fit my knuckle and hub in so i couldnt press that in. The clearance is good but not great, its good for pressing bushings in subframes, and control arms.
