View Full Version : 1998 Nissan 240sx BAD rust. Need help on repair

Sorry there are no pictures yet. I just now noticed the rust.

I have bad rust on the rocker panels (both sides), one of the floor pans (drivers side), quarter panels (both sides) only near the front-bottom of the wheel well though.

How would I go about fixing these without having to totally fabricate everything?

I can weld a little. I'm sure this would be plenty of practice so that's the bright side of this lol

I saw that Nissan does sell most every body part new but it's very expensive.

Are there any other companies that makes body panels for our cars that may be less expensive? Or do I just have to find a person in a part out thread that's willing to cut out the parts that I need?

never answered my question on if there are aftermarket companies who make panels for our cars

There was a company making portions of frame rails for a while in stainless steel IIRC, but i haven't seen any actual aftermarket weld in panels like you are referring to.
