Every time I step on my brake pedal, my front corner lamps turn on, my dash lights turn on, and my stereo face dims as if the headlights were on (they are not). My third brake light is also strange, its always on when the headlights are on, whether I'm on the brakes or not.
Definitely got a crossed wire somewhere, anyone have any ideas where to look?

i'm guessing by your name you've got an S14. By any chance is it a '95?? I've got the FSM for it back at my apt. and can check for you later. I'm pretty sure the problem is going to be in the rear, though. Are your brake lights turning on?? The brake lights and the rear corner lights are right next to each other so somewhere along there I bet the brake light power is getting to your corner lights. The dash lights IIRC run on the same circuit as the corner lights, and the radio dim might just be because you're using a lot more power to light up 6 lights instead of 2.

anywhere that the brake circuit runs near the parking lamp circuit. use a multimeter to test resistance between the two circuits when the car is off to try to determine which lead is being crossed. sounds like you're gonna have fun tearing apart your car trying to find it, unless its an obvious one at the connector area.

it is a 95, actually. Yeah, I've got no problem chasing them down with a multimeter, but I don't have the FSM, so I don't really even know where to start looking.
The brake lights function normally (with the exception of the third brake light, which I mentioned above)

first of all.. check the brake lamps at the tail light.. some of the bulbs are the two filament type that have both the parking light and brake lights... some people mistake for that and replace the bulb with a single filament type and the contacts within the buld socket would link together when you either turn on your parking lights or step on the brakes..

i have a similar problem. My passenger seat belt doesnt work, but i know it works... i replaced it and it was in the open position, when i turned on the key it went to the closed position and thats where it stays. I have an S13, 91. My radio will not work and the interior lights dont work. any idea where to look for a problem? im guessing the door switch but i checked and replaced it, no luck. also somethin to note, when i try to turn on the interior lights the 'door adjar' light on my dash comes on..... wierd huh? any help is greatly appreciated thanks guys
