basically the color is this silver (pearly) with RAINBOW sparkle in the clear coat (obvious in direct light, cant see most of other time (like at night or bad angle in poor lighting)

danny's car is silvia aero bumper and silvia non-proj. his paint job is coming up (different color) but just as badass hehehehe..in time. he put his JIC FLTa2 on and the Gewalt (17x9) 4 lug wheels!

AND IF YOUR WONDERING, the bumpers are sagging/funky because of some touge action hahaha..

I like this pic, but it makes my car look too high. Bah. I scrap all over the place. When i dont need to drive my car as far as i need to everyday, I will lower it to proper height. I guess its ok for mow. My tire sizes are 215/40/17 in front and 215/45/17 in rear. Sometimes 225/45/17 depending on surface/etc... My passenger side bracket (for bumper) ripped even MORE, Aaron, so now we need to do the "Fukuda SPL bumper holder". Sometime this week? NICE.

Thank you, i did it all by my lonesome onesies. I refused to cut Aaron's like that. Its bad enough we have the exact same color (I got them both painted on the same day too). ANyways, I told him i would let him rock the hotness bumper too if we had different colors. Like Sexystyle (What the bumper was "modified" to resemble). Like if his car was midnight purple and mine was silver (or vice versa) i would be ok with rocking the same aero. But when the cars are the same color... yeah SOME things need to be different.

So as to not hurt his feelings I "GodziRa chomped" his rear bumper using my mad jdm tyte artstudent skillz. Heheh. I cant decide whether to do that to my Vertex rear bumper, or get the N1 Dual modified to poke out the provided hole (less angle coming out the back...) Probably try the latter, so our cars wont be toooooo similar.

my AIT front fit like crap... using all factory brackets and every nut possible it fit not bad but still not perfectly lined up with the hood. sold it to jookybanana hopefully he will get it on soon. my AIT sides are still on and they pull away from the rear quarter panel like you guys. my passenger side is much worse than the driver side.

Al, in the overcast sunset, the color looks kinda bland. In daylight you can see it has a LOT of pearl silver. Oh and the Flake. So dope. Looks better everyday. So happy I am. Another color i think would look dop e(maybe for a future car) is a british racing-type of green with flake (like Suenaga's S13). Seeing that car in person after liking the color so much from videos was realllly impressive.

Anyways, like it was stated, our cars have both humped things during some street/touge drift and i would much rather have that kind of car than a pristene perfect fitting and show-looking car. Weaksauce. Cheap bumpers are made to be run the fuck over! Hotroad bumpers SUCK to be run over. Not cheap. BAH!

I want nothing to do with D1. Maybe i will go to the drivers search to see how well i do. Heck i would compete-- but not in my car. Not enough skill, power, or money to do anything on the Irwindale type of course. I am an amatuer and a street drifter. I dont make money for drifting. i dont get a car, i dont get shit besides free or discounted parts from friends and sponsors. But i dont get tires or a track car. I drive my car every single day around town to work, to the mountains, to the track.. and never change any settings or ride height. I drift for fun cause i love it and i love the feeling i get from drifting and kicking it with my friends. Personally i think if you drift for any reason other than this you do not appreciate the "art" of drifting for what it is. I mean it would be DOPE to make money from drifting, but if you aren't having fun (due to sponsorship agreements, politics, or anything else) then its not worth ANY of it. Oh well, thats my own idealistic opinion.

DRFT fits ok. but not great still
rear was the biggest problem after sides.
fronts was 'best'
rear was ok
sides were shit

rear needed lots of trimming to fit left/right
also it seemed the part that goes into fender (for bolting) was too short and required TONS of sanding as well did it side to side (q/4 panel side)

meh lindsays VERTEX fit PERFECT 100%

They are nice. Hahaha. So i guess i like them. Since they can space my wheels out 20mm. The base spacer is 15mm but it has extended studs so you need open lug nuts to use the 15mm part only. the the 5mm plate added the OEM nissan lugnuts fit fine.

The bumper cutout DOESN'T go far enough towards the drivers side, so one tip gets hidden behind it. ugly looking... but so far hasn't seemed to give them too much trouble.

I know that in Japan, they have a spacer that goes inbetween the exhaust and the gasket to make the exhaust tips come out more. Ill try to look for the picture that I have in one of my Option mags and try to scan a pic on here...

SO for street i can have the exhause "hiding" in there (living in socal and daily drive drift cars suuuucks). ANd then the extensions are gonna be outlandish. Like stick out past the bumper, oh a good foot!

Thanks for noticing the Sexy Style type of bumper. I modified it to resemble that one. Cause AIT is cheap. Sexy Style is not. AIT i can dominate and laugh about Sexy Style i can dominate and then commit suicide.... :(

about fitment, people need to understand. its not the most important things. if it was, it would be a show car. when the car goes drifting by at 40+ MPH and your 20 feet+ away, you cant tellhow it fits hahahaa

soo fitment is meh...could be better could be MUCH worse. but it is what it is.

if your overly concerned with FITMENT then you need to spend MORE money (for real japanese aftermarket parts...vertex, bn sports, etc..)

Glad the mirrors worked out alright. I'll need to bring more of those back w/ me when I go to Japan again in May.

I went ahead and uploaded some of the pics that I took w/ my digital cam. I didn't downsize them, so they are pretty big at 1800x1200. You can see the sparkle in the paint.

Its a Mazda color with House of Kolor rainbow metal flake. Yeah im an art student studying Transportation Design (start in may) so this bumper wasn't too difficult. Too bad i rused the fiberglassing and bodywork on my car cause up close it looks liek shit. Oh well, its not a show car.... Thanks for the kind words everyone. Hm. I wish we could get some people to talk shit about the cars... Thats would be cool.
