I dont know about where you live, but they just got them...in the South. They had a ton of 1-2-3, I pciked out 1 and 3. Gonna watch them this week...DVD of course.

They've had them at Suncoast for awhile. But they're 20 not 15. You should get 2 also it has the RX-7 race in it. I just watched the 3rd one. DAMN THEM FOR CUTTING OF THE RACE HALFWAY!!!!

i think those are a rip off. you can get the original japanese version for like 60.00 that's how much i got mines. Correct me if im wrong but isn't the tokyo pop version the same as the original version only that they release it like a couple of episode at a time? Well if that's the case man!! at 15-20 bucks a pop thats crazy...then again this is just my opinion :bow:

tokyopop.(U.S.)...sucks, they cut the races and changed some scenes, names, etc...

i THINK(?) they anticipated the release on cable networks, so they cut the episodes...

I'll have to agree that the original ones are the best, I didn't have to pay a cent though cause I borrowed them from a friend. My local radioshack sells them oddly enough.

dude.. all you fuckers that got the subtitled ones are not original, but fan subbed by some company that flash thier email address every now and then.. haha. Yah i bought the chinese bootleg dvds, with teh crappy audio in first stage...

But being able to watch it with its original content is best. not no bs "english" and alternative music.

You guys are getting ripped off. You can buy the entire series (that's available obviously) Part1,2,3, and the extra stage for $100 bucks. Now why would you pay 20 bucks for a chopped up piece of crap? and only 3 episodes?

the tokyo pop version also doesnt say "shit" when they say kuso(sp? lol i dont think there's an english spelling for it"). It says "crap".

also they change the dialouge around because they are interpreted differently. I've watched the original and tokyo pop(subtitled) versions back to back. The original gives a more authentic feel cause the dialogue seems a little more serious.

You can get nice quality HK copies for $100-120 with good audio and video.
