anybody have a torch

Hey, I was looking to buy an oxyacetylene torch but wanted to know how much it costs to keep up. The one I was looking at had 20 cube feet oxy, 10 cube acetylene tanks. just wondering how long the gas would last on normal use, and how much will it cost me to fill up. thanks.

It doesn't cost very much to keep up. As long as you maintain your torch, cleaning it after usage and storing it properly, it'll last almost forever. As far as filling up your tanks, it'll vary from place to place. You'll have to contact your local welding supply store. Remember, it's not safe to transport acetylene tanks in your car's trunk or backseat. I saw a picture of a car w/ an acetylene tank in the trunk when it was rear-ended by another car.
