placement of temprature sensor

i am trying to locate the temp. sensor on my redtop i think it might have a problem if anyone could help me it would be great. i am not sure where it is.

I am curious as to where the temp. sensor is too. I was looking in my FSM, and this is all I really found. Are these the temp sensors/senders :confused:

Or is it nearer the radiator?

i believe the SR temp sensor is on/near the thermostat housing, same general area as the KA in the pic above.
