Hi, couldn't find a thread that answered my question, so I hope you guys can help.
I have a 92 180sx sr20det. The clutch was slipping really bad and was shot. So I put a new clutch in (PITA with that tranny, but got it in and out), I also had put in a new clutch slave cylinder.
After bleeding the master and slave cylinder plenty times and adjusting the pushrod on the master cylinder as much as possible, the clutch is still slipping!
Any ideas what the problem is??
Thanks!!

i had this problem about a year ago when i did my master and slave. Are you sure you bled the clutch correctly? If not then do it again, thats what the problem was for me. Hope you get it up and running correctly again soon

Did you resurface the flywheel? sometimes if it's warped you'll experience slipping.

As stated make sure you resurfaced the flywheel, imperfections in the flywheel can cause some issues.

How did the Rear Main seal look when you put the new clutch in, any oil residue leaking out ?

Might or Might not be relevant to your issue ...
But check this thread out :

Yea I'm sure I bled it correctly.
The rear main seal looked good, no leaking. As for the flywheel i Didnt get it resurfaced, It still looked good. Prob would have been smarter just to do it.

*But I was under the car today and had a buddy working the clutch, and its slipping B/C the fork doesnt have enough pressure pushing against the rod in the slave cylinder.
ex. Clutch in(down) works good, slave cylinder pushes the Fork perfect and shifting is easy. Release the clutch pedal(up) and the slave cylinder rod re-tracts but the fork pressure only pushes the rod about half the distance it should. resulting in the clutch not being fully engaged and slipping..
I'm sure i put all the springs on the fork and release bearing on properly.

Any Ideas?? Maybe the release bearing isnt pushing back easy enough? IDK

Adjust the clutch pedal itself.
