Hey guys, my turbo came in today can anyone guess what it is? Anyway, I am weeks away from having my car back on the road, and I have been searching the forums for " where to get the 5 hole turbo gasket" and I cant find anything. I am only finding the manifold to turbo(95 z) and the three hole downpipe gasket. I am looking for the 5 hole gasket thats between the turbo and J-pipe. I know there is one at heavy throttle but for 30 bucks they can stick it up there a-s-s. I also know I can buy sheets to make gaskets, but I want a direct replacement gasket. I was thinking maybe the late 80's 300z has the gasket but it might be 4 hole? Here are some pictures of the turbo and 5 hole stuff Im talking about. Your opinion is greatly appriciated, Voya.

What's the spec on the turbo, where from, and how much?

Its the biggest of gt25 series turbos, Daul ball bearing to4, rated at 440hp with max of 500hp. For the specs type in " 705330-0002 "in google, that is the number on the side of the turbo.

That compressor inlet looks small...no way that is the largest

I cant find one bigger, or that supports more then 500hp while still having a t25 flange. If there is one bigger thats great this one is too big for my application anyway, but I got a good deal on it, so I bought it.

Now type in t25 5-bolt turbo gasket somewhere. Stop calling it 5-hole gasket.
Also, there is a limit to the size differences between the turbine and compressor. Some hybrid turbos are great, like a t3/4, but very small turbines with very large compressors add tons of lag, as well as bieng less efficient.

You must think a gt25 means t25, like some sort of stock silvia turbo with a big a-s-s compressor or something, but it just the flange

Sorry, I thought it was a typo. Always forget about those HKS turbos.

Where did you get that turbo and for how much?

I lucked out on ebay, 620$ shipped brand new, the guy did not know what the flange size was and put the dimensions of the flange to the hundreths place. He bought it for a wrx but got sent the wrong one. I went out and mesured the manifold and it turns out it was a t25 hence the name gt25. I typed in the serial numbers and found out it was for a sr20 application, lucky me I thought. The best deal I saw it for that you can get is 1200 but it retails for 1750 so I guess thats good. People think I have money, I dont even have a job, ebay is a poor man best tool.

how about you sell that turbo for me and make like 100 bucks profit?

Sorry man, knowing my cheap a-s-s, I dont think I could get myself to buy a turbo for a grand. But the key for ebay I discoverd for getting turbos for cheap on ebay is type in "turbine", alot of Japaneese call turbos turbines, but here in the states, a turbine is the internals of a turbo. Two weeks ago I bought a new skyline t28 from a guy in japan that listed it as a turbine, I won it for 86$! = 20 shipping! the day it arrived I posted it back on ebay, and then a week later it sold for 310$ since I labled it a turbo and made over 200$ profit for doing nothing. I thought I would let you on the secret since I already got my turbo. Just keep checking turbine auctions. I should keep my turbo, but if a month or so goes by and my car is still not on the road ill let you know since I do not have a job, I may need some desperate means of money to finish my car.
