JDM S14 VLSD into s14 open differential housing?

I've had the vlsd unit in my room forever. It's just the internals though. I was wondering if I can just open the pumpkin and put in the VLSD internals by swapping out the ones in the open diff. I read a thread a couple of months ago but I couldn't find it. I know it's a dfficult install but do you need to also buy the output shafts from the s14 vlsd differential or can I re-use the open differential ones? Any help would be appreciated...thanks!

YES, it will fit, all R200 rear ends are THE SAME. Yes, you do need vlsd output shafts. Open output shafts will not work.

Yep, it'll work. a friend of mine did the install and from what I heard, it was a piece of cake w/ the right tools.
