Tail light conversion (95/96-97/98)

i cant remember who did the conversion but id like to change my 96-97 tail lights and was wondering if it was difficult and i remember something about leaking thanks in advance

It's a direct swap.
Just use sealent when you pu the other tail lights to prevent any leaks.

Also, you might want to trade someone for their tail lights......that may work.

I did the swap...yes it's a direct swap.  Rather easy to do too...You can use the sealant from the new lights, but if there isn't enough, just drop by your local dealer and ask for some.

umm I used RTV silicone, would that be ok?

oh yea i didnt know about the rubber stuff either, and did use sealant, so i uh kinda flooded my spare tirewell when it rained, lol. make sure to used some kind of sealant
and hose the car down to check for any leaks.
