I dont think it'll say it unless there was a salvage title issued for it.
The body shop doesnt report it, and i dont think the insurance co. does either.
I checked on my wrecked car out of curiosity, and the only record out of the ordinary is the salvage title, and tehonly reasaon i got that was so taht i could by it back from the insurance company.

Then... I think Carfax sucks, kinda like a false sense of securtiy, that car had tons of problems with it, then....BOOM, it got wrecked, then got fixed, then gets wreaked again for good....... and carfax doesn't find anything wrong with it.....hahahaha.

i ran a carfax on mine about a year after i rear ended someone and the accident showed up, i don't remmeber what as though...  It wasn't issued a salvage title either.  Heres my VIN # if u wanna run it again and see:
