We're Big Country Labs (http://www.bigcountrylabs.com). We make big (67") GT wings and we're doing our first run for pre-orders.

A quick bit about our wings:
They're available with 2 different leg types, cutout (Stew style) and solid. Our biggest goal was to make an affordable and cool wing. We work through local channels to keep the wing 100% made in the USA. More info on our website (http://www.bigcountrylabs.com).

Powder-coated steel upper and lower mounts

Nope, just real world on a couple of sweet drift cars with seasoned drivers. Their feedback has been that it significantly changes the handling characteristics, especiallly at 60+mph. George Marstanovic has been running the BCL wing on his car since Rd. 1 of Formula D at LBC. He said he could feel it most at ATL coming down the big hill, with the wing he could really throw the car into corners in a way that would have previously had him spinning. He also said that 15mins after putting on the wing he had a 5 oclock shadow.

Costa Mesa is a good city to be in! There's 2 of us running this BCL thing, one of us lives in Costa Mesa and the other works there! We have one pre-production wing that's being used right now for fitment checks on Evo, S2000 and SC300/400, after that I'll send it with my partner to meet up with you down in Costa Mesa? Maybe it'd be good for you guys to meet at the fair and have funnel cakes after #BCLfunnelcakeparty

Any thoughts of sizing one up for a IS300?

Second, can you get us your trunk width in inches at the very back and 13" forward? IS300 trunk is pretty flat from what I can remember, so the universal application may fit. If not we'd have to take a look at a car in person to ensure a good fit. :naughty:

I believe the stands have multiple holes drilled for adjustment, I didn't see provisions for a threaded adjuster - most wing builders prefer the swiss-cheese, multiple-hole approach since you know it'll be level left-to-right and it's more reliable.

We can try for you, but no guarantees :) we do deal with small local companies to get all of our components and that often throws a wrench in the works. In the future we will have them stocked. Have fun at no coast party time super drifty bash party!

End plates don't come on the wing, but it comes with hardware and threaded holes. You could put sandwiches, paper plates, whatever you want on the end of there :)

Well... a lot - drag is a consequence of downforce. F1 cars have drag coefficients around .7, compared to the .3 you'd see for something like a camry.

Right, but a better wing design will have a more favorable ratio of downforce to drag. It sounds like this thing is making a big difference on track, but I was just curious if the drivers felt like their speeds at the end of straights were slower as a result of drag.

I'm interested in this for lapping days rather than drift, hence my concern.
