You need to rotate the compressor housing and maybe the middle to get the drain to point down. also know as clocking your turbo, there are a lot of youtube videos to show you how.

Does the flange not match where it meets the manifold? It kind of looks like the old turbo was a t2 flange, and the new one is a maybe a t3 flange.

The physical size of the exhaust housing shouldn't matter too much as long as your down pipe matches the bolt pattern and clears the flange/manifold.
It looks like you might need to get a down pipe fabricated to match the new turbo.

Yeah i had and adapter cuse it was a t2. New one is t3. Still the turbine wheel on new one is larher than old one. So i suppose that is bigger than .64? Measures i took are from the smallest area on the turbine wheel

How do i know if it is .64?

I think the size is normally stamped just inside the flange where it meets the manifold.
It's not such a problem that it's larger it's more of a problem if the bolt pattern isn't the same as the old turbo.

a t3 5 bolt is different from a t2 5 bolt.
you might want to pick up something like this and get a downpipe fabricated

Hot side was coated. The olny thing i get to see is the A and precision. I do need to get a new downpipe flange to weld for the new turbo.
By the ways this is a precision Gt3071r
Dual bb
.60 polished compressor e" cover housing
Supposely .64 a/r turbine( only tjing i have doubts)
T3 flange
Hot side coated

Need to figure out how to get the a/r on turbine. Cuse is not .64 im taking it back

Turbine housing A/R and sizing | Turbobygarrett (http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/turbine_housing_AR_and_housing_sizing)

I don't think you have the wrong size a/r. it's just that there are a lot of differences between a t3 and t2 turbo.

if you want to run this turbo your best bet is to get a vband adapter and get someone to make you a downpipe.

Thanks ill be reading this. But do far looks that a/r is correct but trim on inducer is larger than my old one. The manifold im using is t3 and matches turbo correctly. Now i do have to find where to get that 5 bolt flange. I thinks said t3 5 bolt ford style
