black shell has been sold! red car sale is still under consideration. hit me up if you're interested.

i'm debating whether to sell the main project, which is a red SE hatch that's i think a 91 (will have to dig up the title). body's pretty much fine, but has a black hood and mismatched red hatch that was likely replacing one with spoiler holes. the front fenders are also bowed out from my friendly neighborhood day-parkers who don't know when to stop (and i don't have a front bumper support installed yet). it's got an sr20det and trans bolted up but never finished. needs a refresh as it's been over 2 years since it's turned over, but motor and trans were 100% functional and fine before sitting. missing a/c but p/s is intact. the idiot before me just crushed the line with the motor and it's stuck. interior is solid if i recall (been a while since i went in it), and dash is complete sans radio. i was intending to build it but i have no time. i'm testing the waters with this one for interest and offers, low ballers will simply be ignored.

i may also be willing to throw in the parts i'd been collecting for the car. off the top of my head:

-tein...flex coilovers i think
-a/c system
-5-lug conversion
-300zx front brakes and calipers
-engine harness (repinned for the swap)
-ecu
-brian crower adjustable cam gear
-windshield washer reservoir
-radio pocket
-front bumper support (bought, never put on)
-s13 stock smic
-partial parts list for sikky ls1 conversion (p/s lines, headers)
-b pillar panels for canadian seat belt conversion (for normal seat belts)
-greddy oil filter relocation kit
-a cluster i cannot remember the origin of. i want to say pulsar. needs a simple resistor replaced to be functional again.
-nismo shift knob

there might be some other stuff i forgot about but i think that's everything. i'm not pricing a thing until it's settled the red car is also going.

since i'm still unsure about selling it, i'm not selling any parts until the red car is sold. i will sell it all in one shot without hesitation if someone wants it, however.

$1500 OBO on the red car if anyone's interested.
car with parts $3400 OBO.
i'm not in a rush to get rid of the red car or the parts atm, so again lowballers will just be ignored.

work has eaten me alive, so feel free to text me: 917-750-3567. just be sure to tell me your username too so i know who i'm talking to. i can take updated pictures of this car as it sits right in front of my house, and feel free to ask any questions!

red's not drivable. bought with the intention of making it drivable, but that thing called work kinda got in the way.

black car got sold, still considering selling the red one, but still on the fence. it's hard letting go something you've been wanting to do :\

i was surprised i couldn't get that shell sold within the next day. i managed to get it sold by late tuesday night and forgot to update the thread. i had hoodrats from craigslist trying to get me to drop the price upwards of half or more...on a $300 mostly-intact shell. i felt it was priced below what i could easily ask for in parts and then scrapyard weight for the frame. each text like that all i could think was 'do you want a free car? cuz this isn't a free car'. some people -_-

the guy that picked it up actually noted the car was in better condition than the one he's running now. figures eh?

not required but probably a quick teardown and gasket replacement. i think i needed a trans harness. that generic fmic didn't have its upper piping connected so i'm almost certain it was full of dead insects so i'd planned to just use the stock smic. we have no idea if the previous owner ever finished the new battery connections to the rear. i needed to check if the rail rust on the passenger side was surface or required cutting out and replaced. a boost controller. tires are dry rotted, suspension's probably a good idea to replace. installation of that front bumper support i'd bought, and bending back of the bowed out fenders. trunk struts, probably damn near every single bulb at this point with my luck. rotors are probably rusted to shit but that's why i had the 5-lug conversion. an insanely thorough cleaning. i...think that's it. honestly at this point i was going to just drain the oil and hand crank it to lube it up and just try to fire it up as it was and just get it drivable for a secondary daily while i messed with my honda. i know for fact the motor was fine before it sat, bone stock and below 35k mileage. you can see why i'm on the fence about selling it...it's not THAT much to get it working again. :-/
