Everyone already knows about this one:

1998 Nissan 240SX MUST SALE!!! (http://chattanooga.craigslist.org/cto/3097838221.html)

It's all over the net, check the email...downs240... POS enema nozzle says he's a deploying Soldier too.

Two scams, Autotrader has many calls about both of them, and US Army commands state neither exist in service(I have a few connections)

What I was saying was that I strongly suspected it to be one, and that this just confirmed it.

<---- had no clue where to put it, but it needs to be where people can see it who might be ignorant that it is a scam. We can teach ignorance away as we are doing here, however, the stupid that pays money cannot be taught away

I'm in the Baltimore area and I saw both the CL post about the white kouki and the green kouki. I sent the guy listing the white kouki an email just to see what he had to say. The guy gave me some run-around story about how he is shipping out to Afghanistan to relieve the US soldiers currently there. He said the car is crafted up and ready to be shipped to me via military delivery. The guy was very persistent on me sending him my full name and phone number so he could send me an invoice on Google checkout.

They don't give a shit about your personal info... It's to make you think they are going to have a car shipped to you... They make it sound like you are putting the money in an escrow account, then they say they'll ship the car out to you for you to inspect for a few days and if you like it then you release the money...

The kicker is there is no escrow account and as soon as you put the money up to buy it they take the money and run...

Get it now???

Hi everyone! This is my first post on here. Anyways, I saw this CL add: http://austin.craigslist.org/ctd/3197708530.html. It's for a 98" S14. The email, [email protected], is the same in some of the other adds talked about in this thread. It looks to good to be true I guess. I am an hour from Austin and this is where the car is for sale. I would not send this guy money without seeing the car and title with his name on it at least.

Whenever I hear the deployed soldier excuse im immediately suspicious haha. I emailed downs240 about a month ago when I saw a crazy deal on a kouki in NJ and after I read his reply I knew it was a scam. Don't be easily enthused by a good deal over the INTERNET!
