Hello all, i recently did a rhd swap on my 91 nissan 240sx. I'm using the 180sx chassis harness and mating it to the 240sx harness. I have a few more wires to slpice for the tail lights and door dingers but ive finished the brake lights, fuel pump, etc. With that said I started it to make sure my motor was good, my dash lights worked, dcc worked, and the rpm gauge worked. Thankfully it ran, but after turning it off and trying to restart it the dash lights don't work, rpm gauge doesnt work, dcc wont turn on, but my radio still comes on and i can still start the car. I've been searching for the past week and a half and havent found anything that has helped fix it. I've checked my fuses, swapped out relays, recharged my battery, swapped ignition switches, and checked grounds. So I'm wondering if any of you have any input on this problem?

To add to it all, my tail lights work. Dash clock works. The 180sx doesnt have a TCU or "little white box". And my warning lights dont work.

Sounds like maybe the ecu isnt plugged in all the way, or its not getting power.

+1 this ^^
I had issues with certain parts of my car bc of ecu not getting a consistent power or ground source. Redid harness, now things work.

ill try messing with the ecu connection today. the only reason imhaving ahard time thinking its the ecu connection is the car will start and run as is. Im just not getting anything the the dcc or cluster but my clock also works.

Ill give the ecu connection a try though.
thanks for the advice guys, any more ideas are welcome!

75A alternator fuse

It wasn't the ecu connection and I've already swapped the 75amp alt fuse a few times. Does anyone know if there's any fusable links in the wiring under the dash on a rhd? Something other than the fuses and relays.

You should have just retain the original wiring save yourself the headache you have now. All you have to do was extend few wires for the switches and others that doesnt reach when you swing them to the RHD side.
