Good afternoon ladies and gentleman! Up for trade (or sale???) is a 1949 Dodge Coronet project that I picked up a few months back. Right now, its sitting on the back-burner...and my wifey wont let me get my sailboat unless I free up driveway space! Looking for parts to complete my S13 coupe shell. What I need:
Complete Drive-train, preferably a KA but open to others.
Coilovers
2-way
Decent Bucket Seat
Trans from an rb25
Right now the Dodge needs to be thoroughly gone through to be roadworthy. Brake lines inspected and flushed, gas tank and lines cleaned out and some wiring tidied. The original flathead was replaced at some point with a later 70s Chevy 250 inline six with an HEI distributor setup. I would put a budget of 700-1000 to make it roadworthy and safe (ish :)). What this car could look like with some elbow grease... http://ruffrodders.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55887
