lately i've been getting a "pop" sound or creaking sound when doing u-turns or hard turn over a speed bump. Noise started after installing SPL TC rods. I also added some tie rods inner and outer, but just used moog OE replacement. I was doing an oil change and saw my passenger side TC rod was all over to one side at the joint. These should sit at center correct? Anyone else noticed the creaking sound like I have described? Thanks.

popping/clunking noise while braking might be because you didnt lock the TC rod tight enough and is possibly loose.

So do I tighten the 17mm bolt that is in between the joint? Or do i have to play with the adjustment nut/screw? Not sure.
Sorry newb to adjustable arms.

Loosen the titanium allen bolt and straighten the rod out and re-tighten.

just take it your alignment guy, tell them to keep it centered before the final adjustment. Its the nut that is attached to the rod, tighten that, the black one. the titanium one adjusts bushing part.

I took it in to get aligned after the install. I took in twice actually because i felt it was still pulling to right. I dont think im going there ever again. The driver side bushing way out, not sitting centered and stripped one side of the big blue bolts.
Ok im going to put it on jackstands and center the joints and tighten everything down.
So I, loosen the allen wrench > center the joint > tighten allen wrench > loosen big blue nut> tighten smaller steel colored nut as much as it gives > tighten big blue bolt as much as it gives>

i think youre supposed to hold the gold threaded nut still while tightening the black nut.
as if you were doing the same process on loosening rings on coils.
it pulls to the right maybe because he fucked up the caster which is what those control.
sucks that you dont have professional alignment guys out there.
or install stock rods back and see if that was the problem to start with lol
