Tool set help

So i am looking to buy some craftsman tools , so when i work on my s14 i can just find what i need easy instead. Im looking to get a big set but aint sure which one to get since their is so many on the market .
Has anyone recenty bought one and can give me some advice.

The Lifetime warranties are only for the made in USA models in both cases. Harder to find these days.

Make sure you get the Metric set.

yes, 10,12 and 14mm are the primary with some 8,15,17mm thrown in.

10,12,14, and 17 and you can pretty much take apart the whole car haha.

i never had a problem at lowes with ANYTHING, they don't care at all. you can go in with a wrench you cut in half and welded at an angle and they'll replace it. sears on the otherhand are dicks sometimes. like one time i brought in a 3/8" ratchet and the guy asked why it broke, i told him i was taking a suspension bolt off and it stripped the teeth, he tried telling me that's not what they're meant for and i straight up told him if he's not going to replace it i can call his boss and he immediately replaced it.

i've had really good luck finding tools at swap meets and yard sales or estate sales. can't always find complete sets, but you can find some rad shit for dirt cheap.

i find having the name 'thenissanguy' and your lack of tools ironic. but whatevs.

not trying to discourage you from your original goal but you can get a long with no name (made in china,) and/or smaller toolsets.
personally i got along pretty far with a small crafstman set like this

anyways, if you have the budget, definitely go with a big craftsman set. i wish i couldve. but again, i get along fine (as do many others) with the tools ive accumulated over the years. and even if you bought that big set, that wouldnt be the end of it. men and their tools are like women and their shoes/purses/accessories, the collection just keeps growing.

If only I would've seen that Husky tool set last week. I would've hopped on it before getting an 80-something piece tool set. Oh well /shrug
