whats the cheapest way to lower?

whats the cheapest way to lower my car without ruining it, (cut springs). a spring and shock combo? or coilcovers? would just stuffing sum eibach's on my oem shocks just ruin it or is that ok? opinions greatly appreciated :) i did search by the way

definitely not coilovers..., they're not cheap, unless you go cheapo ebay knockoffs, and if you do... the jokes on you jack...
